Diabetes, Stress, and Coffee Shops

How to Describe a day that cannot be defined at all?
Begin with the Playlist on a busy coffee shop or what you call Starbucks market,
The OPM songs pushed me again this OCTOBER to write in this blog.

This is Post #4.

OPM Now Playing: Sarah Geronimo, and the likes, just how deep these songs
can get? I really don't know. It just pulls out the emotions from the deepest and the
pounding STRESS of everyday life, and pushes you to open old blogs to type anything
even though not spontaneous. -- Stressed!

STRESS: yes Stress. This is the underlying reason of this post. DIABETES, the effect
of these STRESS the past 4 months.

Overshot Diabetes results came again this month, for the 4th straight month ranging near
20 (normal is about 6.0), Am I even breathing? This is getting sad really. Lost Weight the
past 2 months (Around 8-10 lbs) but still my Blood sugar levels are near where there was
3 years ago (pre-diagnosis).Ugh, I just can't . not even overeating or something... almost no sugar
on coffee, avoided sweets (although not 100%), religiously followed Medicine schedule, and still this? Its fearful really... DIET is OK, so now what? where does STRESS come in?

STRESS - all sides of this never ending quest for perfection and movement.
STRESS - from waking very early to go to work to avoid traffic and not to get TAGGED with lates
STRESS - from Work
STRESS - from Home, and everything really, even everywhere,
STRESS - even from transport, the busy pace of life of even from the people I don't know,
how I ever came to this? Too much WORRYING really.

I can go on and on but if there is one thing that this is giving me is finding comfort in COFFEE SHOPS, i really dont know, many personalities and many people, makes you think re-aligning
your own self, Will this push me more to control my Diabetes, HELL YES!, why? its a simple motivation I keep that all these movement makes me Focus more and not getting my self slip from
the STRESS and EVILS of life, It begins again here COFFEE and TEA, and just the simple things
you can appreciate and (criticize) from everything in COFFEE Shops,

It'll get better, one drip, one seep, and Please NO MORE SUGAR :)

Chaya Japanese Restaurant Baguio - Candy a little too late

When I was a kid I was never fond of Japanese food, all i thought was Japanese food was all raw

But after my Japan Trip in 2007 (ages and ages, so when's the next), I learned to love Japanese <food>

So here is my CANDY for CHAYA Baguio

** Chaya is located in Legarda Road cor Dr. Carino Drive (near Europa Condominiums)

Chaya is the most notable Japanese joint that I have eaten in Baguio, there was one before [Kamimura] behind Sizzling Plate but this was ages ago (high school, college days, 2000s)

Chaya is owned by a Japanese lady (forgot her name) , and the food is authentic Japanese, the scent

and smell of the food reminds me of Kobe and Hyogo, No pretentions cooking, its traditional Japanese with

a modern touch. Comfort and filling, dont be fooled by the portions, it is enough for two, but its heavy on flavor, and should be eaten pleasurably and in pace, at the end filling with satisfaction. NO Hypes, true Japanese FOOD!

Well anyway here are some FOOD candies from Chaya

Yakitori - Filling with Rice, cheap @ 150++

Dessert (Order the Green Tea Ice Cream with Fruits - Heavenly) 120++

Beek Sukiyaki and Rice (300++, 50++ with Miso Soup) Buttery Sweet 

Sukiyaki, surprises the pallete, and generously portioned

And the Rice with the Japanese Seasoning  + Kikkoman, more flavors!

Fish - Catch of the Day, this is Mackerel, they too have Tuna or Salmon

SO why CHAYA is my first Baguio Food Candy post? Its my favorite Japanese Joint even North of Manila, place is clean, place is HOMEY (it is an old Baguio Home made of Lumber and Wood)

Value is the best, One suggestion: RESERVE!!! place is packed on weekends and evenings! Parking at the front can accommodate about 6 cars. I Hope they ADD more items in their Menu too, I also love the Chicken Karage, Tuna Sashimi, THE CHAYA SALAD = best dressing! (if you are into salads - dressing is Passion Fruit + Local Baguio Fruits: Strawberry, Oranges, and even Blueberries from Sagada!) .

Average Visit: Once a Month.

Bill: Splurge a little on pleasure :)

Who is really number one: the AUDIENCE

ah okay... oo sa maynila numero uno ang GMA at ABS sa buong PINAS, PERO ISIPIN NATIN ITO, kinalkal ko n lhat ng website ng AC Nielsen At AGB Philippines or recently AGB Nielsen (ngmerge), walang OFFICIAL statistics na galing sa kanila. Maingay ang GMA dahil sa MANILA, ang ABS, tahimik lang... tma gngwa nila for competition they're coming-up with NEW SHOWS that might at least be COMPETITIVE to the claimed TOP RATERS of GMA. I admit DARNA is a phenom, but for Christ's Sake SIS? Encantadia? Ano ba? Compare mo production sets of both stations, clearly mas malinis tignan sa ABS. Game Ka Na Ba, and Wowowee admit that they are not number ONE but if you judge, they're really competitive. Right... SO unless OFFICIAL RATINGS from THE OFFICIAL WEBSITES ang LUMABAS, then IT'LL be OFFICIAL... Ratings are not all the time ACCURATE. Anyone can Develop PDF or POWERPOINT Presentations (para yan sa mga kapuso na gumgwa ng mga ratings at pati n rin sa mga kapamilya). We should appreciate both stations, they are coming up with more quality programming, but please enough of "ONE-SIDED" or "MANIPULATED" Data... Remember GMA maingay (noisy cans are empty) ABS, humble at di nagmamalaki... cge mmya masira kayo pareho... STUDIO 23 at ABC na naglalaban... oo pala no more PARINIGAN sana from both stations.. npaka childish... especially Joey De Leon... Yeah oo na NUMBER ONE KAYO, pero at least be a smart ass... ur proving that the breeding level of some artists are still not that good... FIGHT with CONVICTION not with NOISE... (Comparison EDSA 3: NOISY MINORITY natalo, di bumaba and ADMINISTRASYON sa LEVEL ng mga taong lhat gusto idaan sa protesta at propaganda) GMA and ABS number ONE kayo PAREHO... QUALITY dpat... tandaan nyo the AUDIENCE has the POWER, they have the MONEY to BUY PRODUCTS from ADS, if you keep on destroying values and TV qualities, well then I can say ABC 5 can bring you down... everybody is really caught up with this ratings thing... I mean if you really graduated with a degree near math or data analysis... it wont be that way too far between the two stations and their programs (ung GAP)... malingered data ain't a solution who is really number one... ang AUDIENCE ang tunay na NUMBER ONE
